Just saw him in Camden NJ last night. Really great show. Surprisingly sounding well arranged, rehearsed and tight RnR band. Friends Tony on bass and Anton on drums were the glue and the 2 guitar players both got to play some really great stuff behind Bob.

Was cool being in poor old Camden and passing the RCA Victor building where the 1st Hawaiian record was made in 1910, 1st jazz and blues, country and Bluegrass with King Oliver, Louie Armstrong, Jimmie Rodgers and birthday boy today Bill Monroe! History was in the air.

Marc-Nice you went to his show. No one filling Bucky's steel shoes.
Did he sing "Man In The Long Black Coat"?

In the early 1970s I practically wore out my Nashville Skyline album. A friend of mine wanted to know what all the hype was about, so I let him borrow it. When he returned it, I could see he had finished wearing it out.

I finally replaced it.

This was at the time I purchased my first pedal steel guitar…a beautiful Sho~Bud Maverick…3 pedals, no knee-levers. It was a big enough struggle just learning Lay Lady Lay (nobody to turn to for instruction down here), but when I tried figuring out that jazzy ride on Peggy Day…

He hasn't had a steeler in the last couple years. Someone posted whole show. Looks like they were sitting right near us. Maybe it was the guy in front of us that wouldn't sit down through the whole show, oblivious there were other people at the show! https://youtu.be/xSplInGuSA8?si=AM4ESdJxiVPaN5Sb

I saw a great show at the Village Underground with Steve Forbert , and Bucky was on steel, great show, I got Bucky to sign his Cd, and also the show poster along with Steve.

Fairly soon after or before he was with Bob Dylan at Madison Round Garden :) and on the bill also was Joni Mitchell and Dave Alvin and the Guilty Men. Great show, good times!
Regards, Craig

Thanks for reporting on "old Camden"—interesting remarks.
